Whether you wish to join us for a single afternoon of discovery or return every week to develop a complex masterpiece, Marzi will be your guide in bringing whimsical characters and intricate forms to life.

The Experience

These 3-hour sessions are dedicated to the slow, rewarding process of hand-building and sculpting.

• Focus: Most Fridays are spent on the "wet" stage—shaping, hollowing, refining, and adding those expressive details that give a sculpture its soul.

• Glazing: On occasion, we will schedule dedicated glazing sessions to add vibrant color and kiln-fired finishes to your bisque-fired work.

• Flexibility: Come for one session to start a project, or join us weekly to refine your technique and tackle larger-scale ideas.

What You’ll Learn

Under Marzi’s expert guidance, you will explore:

• Foundational Hand-building: Pinching, coiling, and slab-building.

• Character Design: Translating an idea into a three-dimensional form.

• Technical Mastery: Learning the essential hollowing and venting techniques required for successful kiln firing.

• Expressive Detail: Using specialized tools to create unique textures and personalities.
